Make Money From Home - 5 Ways To Make Money From Home
Here are five ways I’ve found to make money from home using the internet and my trusty pc:
Blogging – The internet is continually changing these days and as small business owners, people have to adapt. Blogs have become an essential part of an entrepreneurs business. The problem is that it takes more time than some people have to put up useful blog posts each day. Many people are willing to pay someone to post meaningful content to their blogs.
Freelancing – The wonderful thing here is that you can make money doing just about any kind of freelance work on the internet. Freelance work can give you the option of doing something you are actually interested in. Entreprenuers and small business owners will gladly pay someone for all kinds of work including web site design, writing content for their website or blog, graphic design, advertising and copywriting. This might be a great way for you to make money from home.
EBay – Who would believe that you can actually make a living selling stuff on eBay? Lots of people are doing it right now. You can start out by selling some stuff you have lying around. This will give you a feel for how to set up an auction and how eBay works. After doing some research on what people are looking for you could ‘buy low and sell high’ and rake in a pretty nice sum each month.
Affiliate Marketing – This is where you get paid to sell other people’s products. There are lots of great affiliate programs out there. With affiliate marketing you don’t have the headaches of dealing with payment, refunds, customer service, or delivery of the product. This is a great way to make money from home. You deal with getting customers to visit the site and either buy or perform a specified action (ie, filling out a form, etc) and you get paid.
Creating and Selling Your Own Products – This is probably the most lucrative of the methods listed here. By having your own website and products to sell, you get all the profit, not just a piece of the action. You also have the ability to put ads for affiliate products or links to your other products and services. You can even make money by letting other people advertise on your site.
These are just a few of the various ways to make money from home that I have found. They all have their good points and their drawbacks. The important thing is to find what suits you.

Work From Home - Get It Together!
Many people these days are looking for a way to work from home. The advancements in technology in the last several years have made it possible for many people to telecommute. Others are just breaking away from the hassle and stresses of the corporate world and starting their own business. Either way, the trend seems to be to work from home on a pc.
Although it’s great to be able to work from home, you can run into problems if the rest of the family doesn’t respect your ‘work time’. You will need to set some ground rules from the outset so that you will actually be able to get something done.
If you have preschoolers, you may find it easier to get the majority of your work done during naptime. If your children are in school, you will be able to get a lot done while they are in school.
Some Tips For Work From Home:
1. Be sure to set yourself up a home office. Ideally it should be away from the main living areas of the house and have a door that you can shut.
2. You should have a computer that is only used for your work.
3. It also helps if you schedule a certain time that is your ‘work time’. This makes it easier for everyone, as they know that at this time mom or dad is ‘at work’ and needs to have some quiet time.
4. When you are on a recreational outing with the family, don’t take your laptop along. The time you spend with them should be 100% their time.
5.Resist the urge to take business calls during dinner or other family time. You should respect their time, just as you expect them to respect your work time.
The ability to work from home on the pc can be a real blessing for many people. With the high cost of fuel, the long commutes, office politics, etc, it can be a much more laid back and stress free environment. It is, however, still work. Making the transition from the office to working from home can be strange at first, but with a little time and good planning it can be a real joy.
